What is the difference between RCC National and my insurance company?

Your insurer manages your policy coverage and claim approval. RCC National manages your claim from end to end including assessment, coordination of trades and completion of repairs once works are authorised.

Do you offer after-hours or emergency support?

In emergency situations involving severe damage or safety risks, RCC National operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round. Our team is here to support you and respond as quickly as possible when you need us most.

Once I sign my Repair Agreement, what happens next?

Once your signed Repair Agreement is received, your Project Coordinator will move your claim into the repair delivery phase, allocate the required trades and contact you about next steps.

What is the difference between a tenant and owner claim?

: If you are a tenant, building repairs are typically managed under the property owner’s insurance claim. If you are a homeowner or landlord, you will work directly with your insurer and RCC National to manage the claim. We can also liaise with your real estate agent or another authorised representative if you have nominated someone to act on your behalf.

Timeframes vary depending on the type of damage, insurer approvals, materials, access and scope complexity. We will provide updates throughout your job and keep you informed of any changes. Our Project Coordinators are committed to providing honest, realistic timeframes and clear updates throughout your claim process.

What is the difference between my claim number and RCC National’s job number?

Accepted Answer

Your claim number is provided by your insurer and is used to identify your insurance claim. Your RCC National job number is our internal reference used to manage and track your repairs. Both numbers can be used when speaking with our team.
